Photo 1 shows plenty of clearance between the pin and the brake lever- at least 2mm



Photo 2 shows the bevel on the brake lever that the arm sits on.  Tony machined a bevel on the arm but it doesn't match the lever's bevel very closely.  Yours may be different at that point.
