Rude shock for two teens.
« on: July 20, 2016, 07:30:24 AM »
Neighbour has a visitor, a farmer friend who lives on a property some distance from here. He arrived at around 5.30 am
He parked his king cab ute out the front while having a coffee, and a couple of local teens decided that the ute was worth breaking into at around 6am.
Pretty dark outside at that hour. Anyway, they managed to force the door open, and discovered far too late that there was a defensive blue heeler in residence on the back seat. The dog chased them a couple hundred metres, and gave them a good working over until he was called back by the owner. Two Police are here taking statements, and the teens were picked up on their way to the hospital by a patrol car. Police have already stated that there will be no charges for the dog attack, and rightly so.

Good doggie!   :grin
Maybe the monkey solution is a little excessive, but people do get tired of being inconvenienced by these crims.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Turns out that one of them is 13, the other 14 ...
One has bites to the arm and hand, and they have bites on both legs as the dog chased them down the street.
Hopefully they may have learned a bloody good life lesson.
I doubt it, tho. Probably only get a slap on the wrist when they face 'Koori' court in Warrnambool.
