Got it, after 13 characters!  It spent the first 6 characters in NY, then four in Melbourne, then magically jumped to the correct address. There were still 18 characters to the end of the suburb, let alone post code and country.

Dunno about "old".  An address of a property built in a new Brisbane sub-division in 2005 came up in just SEVEN characters.
An old place I lived at in the 50s at Toronto, Lake Macquarie "guessed" the street after 5 characters (including 2 numbers , then jumped from USA to the address with the typing of the two characters "To".  Spooky mind-reading stuff!
