First ride in 7 months!
« on: November 21, 2013, 05:35:35 PM »
Picked my bike up from the mechanic today, got it registered and rode it home. Not a long ride, only about 15km, but it's exciting since its the first time I've ridden it since April!!! Lots of short rides planned over the next few days to build up my riding fitness. My back is pretty sore after just the short ride, but definitely not unbearable :runyay :runyay

Good progress.  Now three months to build up to a Centreline run and a dash across to Ballarat.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Bad advice Brock, half a dozen panadol will put you in hospital with liver failure, besides, if panadol was enough I wouldn't have been off work for 5 months and still not back to full time.

There was a  :grin  following the comment, indicating tongue in cheek. I usually add washing down with a double brandy, but that wouldnt be responsible advise seeing as you were to be going riding

As long as the gusts are behind you all should be OK - Well at least on the way down.
Glad to hear you're back in the saddle.
