For Sale -1999 ex Police White ST1100 in NZ
I have shared this bike with my nephew Kerry in Auckland for the last 5 years. It has done just under 126,000kms, an oils & filters service happened just last week, it is fitted with a c32 litre 2 helmet lockable top box, heated grips, current WOF (read RWC in Oz)Haynes manual, NZ Hema map book & weatherproof bike cover. Kept undercover at Kerry's in Pukekohe, about 30 mins drive south of Auckland airport.
We have covered (mostly 2 up) approx 18,000kms over the last 5 years, a new battery fitted 18 months ago, both tyres at around 50% & there are no known mechanical issues lurking.
Consider NZ$4,500 is a fair price, it has a tonne of life left to give & on this bike NZ is even better if you wear a white helmet & a flouro vest!!  - its true, can't vouch for any extra speed though.!!
The bike is for sale because in early 2013 we upgraded to an 08 Candy Red ST1300, I have a silver ST1300 here in Melbourne - over a few beers one night us boys decided it was time!!
So of course the ST1100 has simply not been getting the regular distance running it's so good at and needs. This bike would suit anyone who just wants to fly in, saddle up and go visit the stunning scenery and roads NZ has to offer. Valerie & I went 3 times last year, be assured NZ on an ST is that good.
You may want to consider sharing the bike with a couple of Ozstoc mates, sharing has worked extremely well for us.
Kerry has indicated he is willing to continue storing the ST1100, giving it regular short runs etc etc until alternative arrangements can be sorted if it helps.
If any of this pushes your buttons send me an email.
Regards
