Looking at the search link I posted http://metalgear.com.au/searchByBikeModel.php?model_name=ST1100P&search_bikes=Find+Bike I get this ST1100 ex Police from Metal gear http://metalgear.com.au/view_model_details.php?model_id=4252 which gives you the numbers you posted.

They are easy to fit only have to ensure you have the proper disc on the correct side.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?

That's ok Rob......that's what we're for........to help each other how ever we can.

As for your bolts; your RH calliper doesn't do much other that sit on the fork and push a couple pads onto the disc etc. The left hand one has a larger top one is a pivot point and the mount is designed to give some movement as the lower bolt is attached to the anti-dive unit.

It's a HONDA !!!    You where expecting something less perhaps ?   :rofl

At the Honda factory they have a design team that designs the bikes. ( from the latest designs, they must be getting paid with wacky weed ! )

THEN they give those diagrams to another much larger team who's only job is to make every detail as difficult as possible to work on at home.  :Stirpot
