ST replacement/companion
« on: July 12, 2016, 05:50:06 PM »
I had enough of the cold, wet. I came to Australia from Europe for sunshine and more sunshine and now the bad, bad weather followed me. With some delay but now it got me.
So therefore I had to react and get some suitable vehicle to improve my travel enjoyment. Nothing on 2 wheels which I did not have already was suitable. 3 wheels are a gimmig that left me with the only choice of 4 wheels. MX5 or 86. That what it boiled down. Drove both at an extended test drive and settled on the 86. Guess what. Since I got the car the weather is getting even worse but the enjoyment is not diminished. Heater works fine and so is the music. I could even pick up a hitch hiker if suitably presented.
I will ride the ST on only perfect days to fully appreciate her. Now with less use she will last me for ever.

Strewth- you moved to Canberra for better weather.   :eek

Mate, you should have asked!!  Get up here to Queensland while you still can.  At least when it rains it stays well above freezing.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

So now if you really want to have some fun in the 86 check this out:-

I thought Sprintex developed the kit themselves so check out the Sprintex Australian Website.
