Oops, I should have said that the mirrors are just over the handle bars. Pics as soon as I find my cable.

The view is sitting upright to take the pics, as you lean forward slightly more mirror can be seen

I might be a little late with this reply as I've only just joined the forum, but I have HELI bars on my 1100. Completely reved the originals, and replaced with individually adjustable Heli bars. Each side can be set up differently allowing for any restrictions in arm movement, short or long reach etc. They cost a fair bit, and you have to loose the central cowel cover, but I kind like the "exposed" look..

Whilst changing the fork oil I thought I'll do the homemade 35mm handlebar risers, so here it is.  Very happy with the new riding position.

Remove 3 safety torx screws from plastic base of the ignition and remove assembly carefully
 (clean and regrease when assembling)

Used Tef-Gel  www.tefgel.com.au when assembling as it is a galvanic corrosion eliminator & anti seize lubricant, about $35 for 30 grams.

Cheers
