Latest list of attendees (and bikes):
  • Jonathon & Vera (ST)
  • Nigel (could be ST, if ... )
  • Russell - I'm counting on Russell getting enthused (as per Nigel)
  • Michael & Helen (ST, unless it's snowing)
  • Kev (ST)
  • Garry & Chris (ST, if Chris drives)
  • Denis & Diane (ST)
  • Marcus (ST)
  • Mick (ST)
  • Danny (ST)
  • Lawrence (ST)
  • Neil & Val (ST)
  • Moto Guzzi Martin
  • Luke (ST)

At 10 confirmed ST's, this might be the biggest group of ST's since Port Sorell.

If Nigel, Rusty and Garry all show on ST's, an even better outcome.

Come on Gordo, where are you?  Who's got his mobile number (not me), to give him a call?
Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

I intend to leave home around 7am, which allows time for a short break before arriving.

I'm on track to go....assuming everything works once the mighty ST is back together!
Gave it an oil change earlier today so that's about it as far as maintenance goes... :think1

I'm now in the process of fitting the fairing back in place and working out what bolt/screw/fastener goes where after spreading them all across the floor the other day.

Hopefully I don't have too many bits left over when I finish!  :whistle

Oh, I even managed a bit of fishing today... :grin

I dropped one of the side cover bolts and, Murphy's Kev's Law kicked in and sent the bolt bouncing across the driveway and down through the steel grate covering the stormwater drain which is in the middle of our driveway.
Using a torch, I could just make out the bolt laying in the water around 4ft below. :cuss
After much swearing I found some fishing line and a magnet and, low and behold, I managed to snare the bolt first attempt!

Maybe my luck is changing...I'd better go buy a tattslotto ticket!  :runyay

Hopefully I don't have too many bits left over when I finish!

Mmmm ... I have the opposite problem, ie. I'm short a few bits and pieces after resassembling the ST and re-fitting the fairings.  A coupla (or more) plastic push rivets have given up after a few times of being removed and replaced.  I currently have a few lengths of black cable ties strategically inserted, tightened and trimmed holding some bits in place - until replacement push rivets arrive.  I've been waiting for a few weeks now, a couple more want matter, but if you bring any leftovers, it'd be helpful.

This is a bit embarassing Russ, so don't tell anyone.

Your secret is safe with me, Michael, trust me... :thumb

Actually, I thought I was gonna be short a few screws myself! :whistle

It's okay though, they were sitting on the bench... :||||

Geez, I just might nearly finish tonight, fingers crossed...and LOOK, it's gonna be sunny tomorrow...Test ride coming up, me thinks!  :runyay

Oh, nearly forgot, I don't care if you are 500k's away Kev, it's all your fault... :p

Which ones are you in need of, Michael?
The chunky ones with a knob or the thin ones with the pin?

In addition to OzSTOC, there is this (if ya diddn't already know): https://www.st-owners.com/forums/

Oh, and Michael, just in case you missed it...

No, didn't miss it, just didn't want to take any push rivets away from anyone's bike.  I have some on order, and the cable ties will do for now.

Thanks Kev, but wadabout Campbells Creek, and Ballarat - if you go that way.  At least a coupla reasons to avoid Ballarat, it's always snowing there, and you might get lost - again.

(Just in case I need to grab some more strawberry jam) :grin

No extras, just some dropping out, see below.
  • Jonathon & Vera (ST)
  • Nigel (could be ST, if ... )
  • Russell (ST)
  • Michael & Helen (ST, unless it's snowing)
  • Kev (ST)
  • Garry & Chris (ST)
  • Denis & Diane (ST)

  • Mick (ST)
  • Danny (ST)
  • Lawrence (ST)
  • Neil & Val (ST)
  • Moto Guzzi Martin
  • Luke (ST)
  • Doug (BMW)

Oh yeah, a jar of strawberry jam for Helen & me, and if there's any leftover, it'd be a shame to return it to Portland.

See ya all Saturdee.

If anyone else is interested, Im planning to meet Martin, Doug & maybe Luke at BP Calder Park (outbound) around 9:30am, have a coffee, a chin wag, and head off around 10:00am.

... head off at 10:00am ...

Yep.  Just on a 2 hour ride via this route, which should get us to Campbells Creek in time for lunch.

If you're there early, booking is in my name.
