Pretty sure it is... :'(

It looks like they've gone upmarket with the food and the prices!
If I end up going I might have to do BYO... :rofl

There is bound to a fish and chips shop down the street. Meet at the pub and find a park.  :p :rofl :rofl

The General store and café is close by as is the park.  You could park the bikes out the front of the hotel and walk to both.  :rofl

I had a look on "Street View" and the General Store has fish & chips, pizza & coffee so I should be okay...lol.  :grin
I'll make up my mind whether to attend or not closer to the date... :think1

Just took no. 2 grandson out for lunch at Burger Road.  Two of their cheapest burgers, serve of fries & two drinks - $44.34.  Damn good burger, but still, just a burger.   I'm looking forward to Sunday.

Patrick was happy though.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

I had to do a search on Google as I've never heard of Burger Road...  :-[

Nothing is cheap these days, Michael!  :eek
I'm still traumatised from the prices being charged at a fish & chippery in Cottesloe, WA...$4.10 for a potato cake and, I think, $4.00 for a dim sim!  :eek

You should have asked for a potato scallop then.

Burger Road...

.... is the older two grandson choice now that Johnny Pumps (specialised in burgers and shakes) has closed.  Helen and I have taken them there a coupla times.

Edward and Patrick both liked there thick shakes.  Helen and I aren't too keen on the prices, but it's only once a year, although now with seven grandkids, it's gunna get expensive.

I didn't buy any...not at that price anyhow! I was just looking at their menu...they had potato cakes & scallops listed though...
Just to compare, a dim sim or potato cake at our local fish & chip shop costs around $1.20-1.30.

I've never heard of Johnny Pumps either...Seems I need to get out more!  :rofl

I must admit I'm not really a fan of "plastic" burgers. Hate Maccas and not a huge fan of Hungry Jacks either although their Aussie Burger (since discontinued) was semi okay.
I much rather a burger from a fish & chip shop although a burger with the lot nowadays isn't actually with the lot...you have to pay extra for what was once included.

Geez, I think I've turned into a grumpy old man!  :whistle :crackup

I'm planning to go to Hamilton via the Southern Ports Highway and Carpenter Rocks, then to the RTE via to the GOR from Abbotsford Allansford to Lorne, and return to Hamilton via Colac.  The return to Adelaide will be the reverse course I took to Harrow in 2018 (via Francis and Bordertown).

Anyone's welcome to tag along.  :crackup

>then to the RTE via to the GOR from Abbotsford to Lorne, and return to Hamilton via Colac.

Allow plenty of time for your travel along the GOR as it can be a slow run with all the tourists gawking at the views and not watching where they are driving.
If you want to avoid much of that, I can recommend turning off at Skenes Creek instead of Lorne and heading to Birregurra via Forrest...

Yeah, plenty of tourists and rubber necks, but in my view, GOR to Lorne is still a good choice.

Actually sounds like a plan as I have never ridden that road whereas the Lorne one I have.
