Well I certainly screwed up big time on Sunday.
Karl (met at Esk Sat) came around to have his towbar fitted , easy I says.
Start on job have extra metal for stays (no t shaped pieces) have look where to mount and need to make holes for metal bar,,,get out Dremmel.....
And proceed to drill hole,,,,,,,right thru side of Main Wiring loom
,
the feeling is not good and inspection shows about a dozen wires cut
proceed to solder and shrink wrap after stripping more of the tail light section to get more work area,
This all takes time and it was running out as Karl wanted get home, so it was RACQ and $95 later Karl is off, (I am covering the costs its the least I can do)
Calls later to let me know that he arrived home safely, and will either finish it himself or another friend will do it,,,,,
I learned ....when you have a stiff neck and only one eye working,, supply gear/tools/etc and let them do the work.
And although the mind is willing one must remember the physical attributes of ones body are not.
Sorry Karl. and from now on I will only be doing my own shyte.
