Yes HarieG. If the Kallangur contingent ride on by BP northbound at 10.30 and the big 'D' and Mrs 'D' and moire will tail in behind.
Royce and Shane, if you're coming up via the Bruce, feel free to join Diesel and I at the BP Service Center at Burpengary. I'll be there around 10 to top up fuel and maybe grab a coffee.

I enjoyed my lone trip from Maryborough to Maleny today and it was great to meet up with some new faces (for me, my 2nd rte). It was nice Aussie coffee and meal at Maudy's as well.
I have to say (after leaving Maudy's) that it's quite a nice feeling to ride along some of those scenic photo-worthy roads seeing the line of ST riding characters stretched out in front. Unfortunately for me they had to turn off at Maleny town while I rode on alone to Mapleton and then down to Kenilworth for some afternoon tea.

Now, the farkle that I want for my ST is a decent camera mounted to it with a remote controlled button so that I can take advantage of some of the great photo opportunities while I'm riding along.

What a great day. Great weather, great roads, great food, great people and........great motorbikes. Nice to catch up with a few old faces and meet some new ones.
Got back home, flicked the telly on, someone singing the National Anthem at Philip Island. Race about to begin. You little beauty.

A great OzSTOC event, especially as it may be my last for a little while.

I'm hoping for only two weeks post op, but have to wait and see. In for the chop on Tuesday 5th. So while you're all enjoying Melbourne Cup, think of me, I'll be on the operating table so have a drink for me.
