ST2UP & STeveo will arrange a tour for anyone coming in on the Friday night who wants a crisp Saturday morning ride through the tablelands

From where would the ride start?  Just in case I can turn up early, which seems quite possible at the moment  :thumb

Yay  :runyay I just booked my room. I feel important and official. This is my first ever trip away from home that is not work related and I kind of feel a little naughty and wrong at the same time. You know, I'm away playing and the wife is home with the stinkers (21 and 17 yr olds).

So the New England Cool'n'Crispy Cruise will kick off from Uralla on the Saturday morning at around 0930 from the Pub......We will do Uralla - Armidale - Tryingham - Nth Dorrigo (Lunch) - Ebor - Uralla. So you will get to experince some of the best of the WaterFall Way and a few twisty back roads......even a hoon  :-((( down & back up the beautifull Dorrigo Mtn if you wish ??

Options to see along the way (to be decided by the group on the day) Wollomombi falls (2nd Highest in Aust), Ebor Falls, Dorrigo Steam Rail collection, Dorrigo NP rainforest Skywalk......even Dan Seymours memorial  :whistle

Can meet any riders coming in from the coast at North Dorrigo for lunch :eat

A Lazy 300 k's for the Day......and back to Uralla before the real New England winter chill sets in and to the open fire  :thumbsup

A small Cafe/Restaurant in the village of North Dorrigo is happy to open just for our Lunch on the Saturday if we can give them >10 participants for lunch......will have the usual Cafe fare in a quaint setting.

http://www.northdorrigorestaurant.com/about-us.html

If you could advise your interest to attend so we can confirm with the Cafe.....they dont normally open for lunch but will by appointment for our RTE.

If you are travelling in from the East, either the Waterfall Way OR the Grafton-Armidale road are very ST friendly choices  ;-*

Lunch planned for a 12:00 at North Dorrigo  :grin

This is tempting but I'd have to leave home at around 4 in the morning and I still haven't developed my long distance legs yet, I'll have to think on this one.

I will leave Friday and go the more interesting way. I don't know where or when I will stop Friday afternoon, but having done a few distance rides lately it is likely to be shorter distances rather than longer.  A trip into Dorrigo for lunch sounds ok, as it means a sleep in somewhere - Urunga pub, since I could not make that one??

John if you havnt riden the Orara Way behind Coffs up to near Grafton followed by the Grafton-Armidale rd to just past Tyringham.....its worth a look, but then again if you do sleep in, the hot mix of the Dorrigo Mtn if you get a clear run is just scrumptious  :thumbs

We be going through Ebor about 10:15 if you want to meet up......Great little country Coffee shop on the right hand side in the village called Fuss Pots.....the Guyra to Ebor road is sealed but a little rugged in places in the middle section.

I have been on the Grafton-Armidale road, but only in the car. Looks like the route for me on Saturday morning, meeting up in Dorrigo.  A night before in Urunga or Sawtell look the go  :think1  If I do feel like sleeping in that terrible waterfall Way road will have to do  :runyay

The location for the lunch RTE on the Saturday for those attending early is to the North Dorrigo shop/cafe. As they don't normally open for lunch they will only have a limited Menu.......

They advise that this set Menu is popular with our style and size of group:

Sirloin Steak burger with chips.
Pork ribs with chips.
Grilled fish fillet with chips.
Tea/ Coffee/Hot chocolate.
$10.50 per Head.

Any issue with this set lunch menu......anyone ?????

Menu is fine by me...never a complaint from me when it comes to food and in particular for someone to open their cafe just for us!  Great job folks for organising the venue and eats!
