Booked in for the 24th, was told I got the last room, see yuse there sometime around 4:00pm.

Anyone want to ride a long way from Melbourne to Tungamah?  Something like this: http://goo.gl/maps/wVdLB
Like to leave St Helena around 10:00am, could be as late 11:00am if that's more suitable for others.  Lunch en route.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

Found out today that I wont have to work this weekend, so was thinking of heading up to Tungamah Sat arvo. It all depends if there are any rooms or camping sites available in the town.

Anybody in the know?

I booked last week, was told I got the last room, probably worthwhile calling to check tomorrow though.  Somebody may have room / spare bed, not with us though - Mrs W wouldn't be too pleased.

Hi Guys and Gals,

As a few of us are leaving from Melbourne suburbs how about we meet at Glenburn Service station (on Melba Hwy) at about 1130. We may be able to get a few bikes riding together to make for a pleasant Afternoon.

This should also fit in with Williamsons plans, and I reckon stopping somewhere for a feed sounds great too.  ++

Let me know if your interested and I'll PM my Mobile to you.

Cheers,

Hendo

Hendo,

Sounds good - I'll even try to remember to stop as I pass the servo this time.  Is this the servo about 600m north of the old burnt down pub?

PM with my mobile sent.

Another great overnighter at Tungamah Pub, thanks to our wonderful hosts and great ozstoc company.

Danny had a flat tire the night before so he ended up driving, All the time I was bagging him out, I ended up with a flat battery as I geared up and was about to head out. Ended up jumpstarting it and heading off a little late, I think I was last to arrive around 530pm great food great drinks and great conversation.

Thanks on and all.

..... great tripe to tungamah....

Not sure about the "to" bit, but there was plenty of tripe talked at Tungamah, especially after the tongues were well lubricated with Carlton Draught and a Merlot of dubuious heritage.

Thanks to the organisers -  :clap :clap :clap

And thanks to Nigel and Hendo for the comapany of the way there - I can't believe yuse guys had never been through Tolmie & Whitfield before.

And, err, sorry 'bout the slippery gravel, pot holed track leading past ther Cheviot Tunnel.

Not sure I had chicken. Gotta say what a blast of a trip. Meeting up with fellow Ozstoc`ers at Glenburn for the ride in (or around) in this case, didn't realize I should have put the Knobbies on , never mind it was like my License test allover again didn't put my feet down so that's a pass. :eek. I did have a chuckle when we came out of the bush and Ppopeye rode past what he was thinking these guys are up too? :grin. Anyways, never been through Whitfield, didn't have a clue where I was, but was again a great learning curve.

Amber fluid was flowing well at the pub :beer, gotta say too that the Grub was great as were the hosts.
Good conversations were had by all and opportunity to meet and catch up with as many as I could was great. Nice to see too that the weather gods were shinning over us. Oh, and a special encouragement award for the locals. :crackup   Was that Spider-man hitting on Wonder woman or too many frothies?

Interestingly juiced up at Yea on return trip and my trusty mate was sipping fuel at 4.9/100  :thumb so happy with that . Having said that got home only to find a leaking left fork , quite badly , so into the shop for some love, :well not sure do this myself. All in all great trip and Lar Lah go get the CTX. :well  :wht11

A great get together as usual!  I did the trip the long way round, doing 2500kms. Much of that was due to a FarRide completed on Saturday, and a detour via Sunbury back to Canberra.
