One of many regerets is that I used to have the 'helmet' that dad used. It was a leather cap with straps to do up under the chin. It was lined with rabbit fur.  More to keep warm I think!

i got my licence in NZ at age 15 on a 1948 AJS 500 single....that just makes me old i suppose ??

It's been 24 years here. In some ways I would like to visit. I was fortunate enough that my parents travelled the whole of New Zealand before immigrating.
