I'd like to try this at home but its beyond me. Besides I don't want to deprive Saaz of the pleasure.
What's the secret of getting 37,425 km out of a front tyre? Do you only ride in the rain between temps of 10 and 15 degrees celsius, at night, keeping under 80 km/h on smooth concrete surfaces, avoiding long straight roads, without a pillion or panniers?
No wonder you change the wheel bearings when you change a tyre.
I'm happy if I can get 17,425 km. I might try 44 psi in future.
