I booked the Shamrock early when the dinner was planned for here. Found communication difficult trying to confirm the booking but the accommodation was good and great value $92 a night. Had chinese at the Shamrock Friday night, again good value and very nice. Location excellent with a short walk across the road to a cafe that served a nice breakfast and opens at 6 am.
Also just a short walk to the RSL and not far from the caravan park.

Having missed the Mansfield Rally great to catch up will everybody.
All in all a great weekend, hopefully be back next year with Theresa.

Head back to Victor Harbor today for a couple of days and then head home Wednesday.

Todays junk mail.
Notification that I have won an 'Amazon Mystery Box', which has been shipped to me.
A warning that I may have to pay a delivery fee.

I have NEVER sent an email to, or visited an Amazon website.

Oh yeah... another 3 trying to sell me pillows, and 4 advertising Japanese cooking knives which apparently make you a better cook.
How does a knife improve the taste???

Also an email from an 'Adelaide Hospital' claiming that my mother requested me to send some money to cover costs of her impending treatment.
Nice try, but a bit late, as she died in 2007.

I'm glad we changed the venue from the Shamrock to the RSL.  Great food, Guinness and most of all great company.

Just had a call 9:40pm Saturday asking if I had a booking.  Explained to lady re. difficulties I (and others) had with calls and emails for our accommodation and meals, that eventually most of us went elsewhere.

I have a similar one of those thingies after Gra Har showed me his in Tassie.  Used it one on the kwaka.  Hope I never have to use it on the other two bikes because I don't know where their batteries are.
