Having just completed my return trip to Perth, one of the best bits of equipment I had with me was the little throttle clamp (poor man's cruise control). It took a little of trial and error to get used to the right tightness, but once attained was fantastic at giving my wrist a break long enough to avoid any stops or just letting the throttle go.

I suppose I can enter the fray, mine came from a guy at work. When I put my helmet on the desk, he looked at it then at me and said, 'I've seen buckets that are smaller than that'. It started as 'Buckethead', then over time got shortened to what it is. Many younger workers only ever knew me as Bucket.
