Here is mine, not on the bike this trip but still on the way to an RTE at Wentworth NSW. I love to stop and go for a run around the mountain. In fact I'm glued to the TV today as is my day of devil food and the odd drink while watching the super cars.

We have a plan for when I run around Bathurst, I run from start to finish and Chris gets coffee and the paper and meets me at the top with water, then drives to the bottom.   :Stirpot

Enjoy your Bathurst day  :thumbsup

I did a lap of Bathurst in a 1984 Mazda 626 Hatchback at 60 km/h. All the way round I was thinking I would love to have done this in my HDT Group 3 White Commodore Brock special. Eventually on Conrod Straight, I turned to Dezohn and said as much. Get response was priceless, she excitedly said "I've been waiting all lap for you to say that" :grin
I think she knows me well. :kissblow
*edit this was before digital cameras, so no photos.
Cheers,
Gary

We went to Bathurst for the 1986 race by car; maybe the last race before they ruined the end of Conrod straight.

Years later (mid 1990s) we took the CX500 Turbo around the track on our way back home from doing the coast from Adelaide to Sydney. To be different we went around the course opposite to the race direction. I took some photos on the trip with a film camera but where the pics are now is a mystery......somewhere in the junk room.

I haven't watched the race for years.....

MadBikers Group at the top of Mount Panorama - circa 2004. One of those white ST1100's belongs to John, SAAZ, the other mine.

On way to Goulburn August 2013, to be flag marshal at Wakefield Park. Bloody cold at that time of year so took lots of clothes and a fan heater for the nights.

At Skyline in 2012 on our way back from 1st National OzSTOC Rally at Blackheath NSW with Gowly (ACT) and Mitch (WA)...

Equalled the lap record this day with everyone who has ever thought "Damn this 60km/h!"  lol

Also got a shock when a Council truck came up the dipper the other way...

Who does that? Who drives Mt Panorama the WRONG WAY ROUND?      :think1         :rofl :rofl :rofl
