Evening ALL, Draco here, I will be attending RTE Bunya will be leaving from home to travel to Caboolture BP Connect North arriving at or before 8:30am.
 Anyone interested in joining me on the ride to Bunya please feel free to do so.

Will be departing BP at around 8:50 ish am.
Mobile is 0412176152 Draco (Rob) if your running a little late. Would ideally like to leave 8:50am But definitely before 9:00am.

Have a fabulous time for all who can make it, I'm sooo jealous of you. Chris has been through the mountains twice and the pictures looked amazing. We even had a BB booked their last year for a get away but had to cancel

I nearly got there only by the time I'd fuelled up, adjuSTed the tyre pressures I'd missed the departure time so for me the morning turned out a little different .........
Off to the lighthouse cafe Cleveland for breakfaST, then a short jaunt through capalaba, mount cotton rd , Alberton rd the back way to Springwood, tyre kicking in Moss ST......any excuse to show off my Shiney ST.
Then it was another small zig zag around to Tony ArmSTrongs Suzuki for a casual coffee relaxing in the ambience of the motorcycling culture.......if you haven't been for a coffee there it is a top spot.
Saddled up again and off home ..........
JuST what I needed to rejuvenate my enjoyment of the STunning Red MyST that is my

I slept in after a poor nights sleep. Got or of bed at 7:30,had breakfast and got ready to go.

I jumped in the car a little after 8 and as I approached the BP at Caboolture at 8:50, I thought I'd drop in on the off chance Draco and others would still be there. As luck would have it Draco, Jason, Justin and his wife Alison were there and having a chat. A quick catch up before we all departed.

I had stopped for 10 to 15 minutes at Yarraman at a Café hoping to get photos of STs coming into town. However, even though I thought I had beat everyone out of the car park back at the BP, I never saw another ST until the final climb up the Bunyas when I caught up to Draco and Jason on the second bit of gravel road. . The Alltrack was right at home on the gravel, but the bikes looked a little nervous.

As we pulled up into the car park we waved to by Shirley and Carrol.

We gathered around bikes and met up with Dave (DBFIVE), Jordan, Leo.

Soon it was time to head up to ELZ Bistro to be fed. The service was very friendly, very prompt, and food was really tasty. I had the Bunya nut chicken salad, being healthy food I had to balance it worth a very tasty Iced Chocolate.

Part way through we were joined by Tim (tding) and Joe.

Today I started out with runners on my feet, but this happened

So having lost my sole, I had to resort to this


At Blackbutt I caught up with Justin and Jason taking a pish stop. Soon we were joined by Draco as Shirley and Carrol kept on trucking.

As I had to go past Caboolture on the way home, I "had" to drop in to my daughter's place and give my Granddaughter a cuddle for a coups of hours. So I didn't arrive home until a little after 7:00 pm.

  Not sure if the transport department lads & lassies will like the airplane searchlights mounted on Rob's bike ?

A joke as the waiter and waitresses kept trying to deliver meals and drinks to Shirley even though Carrol spelt Shiney.

Only two short bits. However there is a couple of other bitumen roads which Justin tells me one was fun on the way down, so would be good on the way up.

  RR from me. I woke at 6:00am, showered, breakfast (porridge  ) on the road about 7:30am off to BP north @ Caboolture where I had Coffee. Meds taken. There I met Jason (JF3000). Then along came Justin (Bloodman) and his wife Followed by Gadget, then after a chat and coffee we proceeded to get underway. Led by Bloodman, me then Jason. was a fun ride along the way we encounted the twisties near Blackbutt (love that part) and arrived safely at at our destination after a bit of gravel road (No problem for a BLUE ST ;) ) further on a green snake committed suicide under my front and rear wheels.
At the venue we were greeted by a few more ST's, in a variety of colors

Had a fantastic day, great meal only downside was the 2 cage drivers intent on my death..
BUT A GREAT DAY OUT NONETHELESS

Carrol and I had a great day out

We headed out at about 08:30 in the cage (Due to medical reasons I'm not supposed to ride at speeds that will put pressure on my neck )

We shot up the slab then inland to Bunya Mountains, we didn't see any ST's on the way but did see a roo and almost got cleaned up by a female driving a 4WD towing a caravan
(She decided she need to occupy the same space on the road as us when we drove past the servo she was leaving If she had just done a shoulder check she would have seen us )
An extended blast of the horn woke her up and we continued on.

We arrived and met up with Wild Rose, and had a chat with the bloke taking people for a ride on a horse and buggy







After a little while everyone else began to arrive and before we knew it we had a nice collection of ST's gathered near our car and a few good OzSTOC types
(Draco, DBfive, Bloodman & Alison, Gadget, jf3000 (attending his 1st RTE), Onesie, Wild Rose, Carrol & myself )





We all had a chat and checked out the bikes for a bit then headed in (past the strange sculpture) for a bite to eat





We were joined by Tding and Joe then everyone had a great feed and a good laugh at the staff having issues with the name Shiney



After we were all fed we headed back out to the bikes where we heard the legend of the barefoot Gadget



And watched Alison go for a scary cruise around the car park on the wing with Onesie





Then after a bit more of a chat we headed off for home.









All in all it was another great RTE :yayrun
