Gps mount
« on: November 28, 2015, 06:16:43 PM »
I picked up a waterproof GPS box (RAM mount) and was looking at ways of securing it to the bike in a position that did not interfere or obstruct access  or views.  After a talk with Pete the other day a plan was hatched.  I had a very good morning in Stinky Pete's Man cave this morning.  From a few pieces of metal he has fabricated a very sturdy and practical GPS mount.   This is the first time I have tried loading photos so I hope this works

It was Pete's skill with all of his toys that is the impressive thing.  I sat waching in awe as he turned aluminium rod into perfect spacers and did some of the neatest welding I have seen in years.   I think his career in forensics was misspent given what he can do in the  "shed".
