Ratchet Ties

As Australia is now recognising OS certification on helmets, do you think we will see ratchet straps on our helmets?
I am of the belief that they are currently illegal, however if I'm wrong, does anyone use one and how do they stack up against the "D" rings?

They're a "snap" to do up!   :grin

And there's a little tag that makes it easy to pull free.

I'm still getting used to the Schuberth- like all new helmets it feels too snug, but they "bed in" eventually.

I think Queensland Police use this brand- I'm sure some Oz police do, so I doubt the illegality of the fastener.
