If you drank the can of softdrink, the fridge would probably be light enough to carry in your back pack.  Did you know there are about 14 teaspoons of sugar in a can of coke?  Maybe swap to water.  Put in freezer overnight.  Leave freezer at home.

Do you have a top box?  If it was inside the box it would keep direct sun off of it as it does not seem to have much insulation.   Hard to access whilst underway though!  A long straw perhaps

I have fitted a 12 volt outlet in my top box, that plugs into another 12 volt outlet under the pillion seat.  There would be plenty of room in your top box for a little cooler.
