minor repair after Emu attack enroute to Balranald meet
« on: February 12, 2016, 11:18:29 AM »
Finally gave up on acquiring a replacement mirror housing, and got some industrial strength Araldyte.

Housing was smashed into 7 pieces, so over the period of the last three days I re-assembled it, waiting for the glue to set between assembly attempts.
Fitted it back onto the bike this morning.

The glued joints are still visible, but it looks far better than the bare mirror with the indicator lens taped to it.

Well done Kev. Especially considering the many pieces to reunite.  :like

Thanks, Greg... it was sort of a jiggle puzzle.... try and mate each piece, and ensure it didn't sag for several hours until the glue goo set.
