2010 St1300 ABS
« on: April 12, 2016, 05:26:40 PM »
A very good friend of mine has just listed his 2010 ST1300ABS on bikesales.com (see link below). I can vouch for the genuine nature of the sale and quality of the bike. The bike is only being sold due to age and health reasons. In his ad Allan states...

"Only ridden by an old guy on Sunday's. Selling because of age, mine,79, not the bike !! Superb condition, absolutely unmarked. Regular service history and recent new matching tyres. Eleven months rego. Great smooth cruising machine with shaft drive and 29 litre fuel capacity. Spacious panniers, Honda pan-European top box. Heated hand-grips. Reluctant sale at a fair price. Certainly worth your inspection."

The new tyres are PR4's.

I am confident that the first genuine looker will buy this bike.

Located in Maroochydore.

If you are interested give Allan a call on 0412 882 711

Bike is still on the market.

Redbook lists the model as follows:

Private Prices   $14,700 - $17,400
Trade In Prices   $11,000 - $13,100

Fantastic buy at $11950, especially given the extremely low milage of just over 56000.

There's a 2010 0n Bikesales for $12500 with only 18847 km
And a 2009 for $11750 with 14750 km
Or a 2008 on Gumtree for $11500 with 24600 km

all with ABS, shaft drives, spacious panniers, 29 litre tanks and topboxes AND half the kays.
Plus sheepies, GPSs, etc.

Well those would potentially be good buys. The 2010 has only done about 3100km per year, the '09 about 2100km/year and the '08 about 3000km/yr. Only ridden to church on Sunday's  :thumbsup

I thought all ST's came with shaft drives, spacious panniers and 29 litre fuel tanks. Plus they do not all have sheepies, GPS etc. That is a bit misleading!

Regardless, you get what you pay for. I can vouch for the value of this bike.

Wasn't that one over $18K?  Anyway, it's not on his website or in Bikesales, so he must be keeping it for Onesie.

Too good to last- it's not on their website.
Maybe Onesie grabbed it!

I asked the seller about the year and got this reply:-

100% sure , Black was available in the US and Europe in those years but were never brought to Australia except for this one for the Melbourne Motor show.
The in fill panels were updated for me by Honda Australia where it has all of its service

I didn't think that the earlier versions had the attachment points on the chassis for the side fill in panels.

Apart from a typo error (V instead of U) in the ad VIN code it's an Aussie model for 2003.
