SENIOR DRIVING

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car - both could barely
see over the dashboard.

As they were cruising along they came to a major crossroad.

The stop light was red, but they just went on through.

The woman in the passenger seat thought to herself

"I must be losing it. I could have sworn we just went through a red light."

After a few more minutes, they came to another major junction

and the light was red again. Again, they went right through.

The woman in the passenger seat was almost sure

that the light had been red but was really concerned that she was losing it.

She was getting nervous.

At the next junction, sure enough, the light was red and they went on through.

So, she turned to the other woman and said,

"Mildred, did you know that we just ran through three red lights in a row?

You could have killed us both!"

Mildred turned to her and said,

-

"Oh shit! Am I driving?"

Friends, tell me this won't happen to us.

A bloke gets into a taxi and the taxi driver takes off flat out. First intersection the light is red, straight through no stopping, "That was a red light!" from the passenger hastily fastening the seat belt.

2nd intersection red light, no stopping, not even a lift off the throttle, "That was another red light!" Yells the passenger grabbing at the hand grips.

3rd intersection a green light and the taxi driver slams on the brakes. The passenger is slammed hard into the seat belt leaving minor bruising. The bloke shouts angrily to the taxi driver, "You've run 2 red lights and haven't stopped and now there is a green light you stop like your life depends on it!, Why!"

The taxi driver replies, "My brother is also a taxi driver here and he doesn't stop for red lights either."
Cheers,
Gary
