November 1997 white Honda ST1100 Pan-European, ex-police, now dual-seat motorcycle, with 256 000 km on clock. Suits either someone wanting a little bit of tinkering, or for parts. Have a new motorcycle, but still missing her, beautiful bike with great little design features (e.g. large panniers, corner-wrap headlights, easy access idle, that lovely purr, and feels like a bike should).
DETAILS
Single-seater police bike to 2000, at 45 000. One owner since then. And dual seat and pegs fitted.
Selling as-is, unregistered (expires Jul 2016). A few scratches here and there.
12 V socket in front left hutch.
Cooling fan wired to switch.
Pegs a little worn.
Running on three cylinders. Not ridden for six months.
No ABS, no traction control (she's over fifteen years old remember!)
Front light brackets above mirrors
Slight oil leak
L/pannier left lock needs cleaning
Older style smoke-grey windscreen. Perishing rubber seals in-sets.
** New rear tyre (Aug 2015) and rear shock (Apr 2015). There's $1000+ value right there.
