European Tour Rally 2016

There are a couple of Aussies in this Rally.  STs are popular for touring over there:

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Here's a better ST1100 pic.  The owner looks very pleased with himself and his ride.

"Gerald has had the front caliper fall off the front of his Honda Pan European on the cobbles of Vienna.
He need to find bolts and get rolling soon to hit the 8pm latest check in Brno.

oh the trials and tribulations of an Iron
FazerPhil, Monday at 6:04 AM"

And he was on the road again. :runyay

Note to self,  tighten caliper bots before ridng on cobblestones.

The STs did very well in the final results:

1st, 4th, 12th and 15th with other Hondas in 5th and 10.

14th is an Aussie Ironbutt rider, Ian McPhee.
16th is Aussie, Michael Turnpenny.

HDs brought up 23rd, 24th and 25th.    |-i
