Hi Just to Introduce myself.
 I got back into road bikes in 2000 after a 40 year layoff. Started with a CBR600  :thumbs loved it but no room for the other half. purchased an ST1100 98 ABS TCS  :blk11 in 2007 for a two up trip to Darwin and back down the East coast to Melbourne. Brilliant trip took us one month. I had intended to sell the ST when I got back, but held onto it for a few years, sold the CBR then sold the ST and bought a 2007 Blackbird.
The missus doesn't get on well as pillion on the Blackbird so I am now looking for an ST1300 for another long trip, I have more time now as I am retired. Safe riding everyone

G'day and welcome pacey to OzSTOC, THE place for all things ST. I ride a 98 ST1100 xpolice,  and wouldn't think of selling STranger, even if I do one day get a ST1300. :thumbs

A friend and forum member has one for sale in Acacia Ridge, Qld barely ridden.

Welcome old feller!
Fancy getting a Blackbird and expecting (?) your Missus to ride pillion.  Or were you trying to shake her off?
Anyway, she'll love the ST1300.  They are always coming up on Bikesales with plenty to choose from if you're prepared to go get it.
Also you'll find them with under 20,000 kays if you're patient.  Then you can run it in.
