Thanks for letting me in ..just bought this st1100 a few weeks ago ..after selling  my 1200 bandit .
Love the easy way the st eats the KS .

Welcome in. The ST certainly eats the Ks, mine is up to 163000 so far.

Hi and welcome, zl4dlu. My 98 1100 has around 175,000 on the dial, still has plenty of get up and go, and the most comfortable of bikes to travel on.  :thumb

Kev is slowly catching me up, my '99 has 192,000km up - only do about 10,000 a year now compared to the 30,000 a year I used to do.

Gday zl4dlu Dave I see you followed the link.. Welcome here mate as I said there's a wealth of info here and lots of tips.. My ST1100's got 185,000k's 150,000 of mine..  :grin
I juST checked the NZ members map and there's 16 on the north Island with pins and 4 on the South Island.. :grin

Great bike in a great country. I love those NZ roads.

The wife and I are planning another trip across the ditch late next year to visit my brother and then tour either the North or South Island.

Thanks for the offer , looks like a few kiwis ride a st ..looks like today is going to be a decent one down here so I might have to go for a ride ...just a short one ..maybe 600 or 700 KS .
