I used to carry a can of Zssshh years ago... had a flat somewhere south of Port Hedland.
The can suggests that you get the tyre repaired properly within 50 miles or whatever.
Was on the inland road to Perth through Meekatharra, and had the tube repaired in Perth, some 1500 km later....

I have a similar Zssshh story, but with a car tyre. Drove for about 1,000 km because I was coming home for a long weekend through the Friday night. Got it repaired Sat morning in Brisbane.

Spot of lunch and drink of ice tea.

Went through. Rain shower that was heavy enough to warrant the wet weather gear only to pop around the corner to see the rain stopped 300 meter up the road. So hot that I got wetter sweating thanks did by the radio n

Now it will be a 'quick' trip to Townsville.
