So disappointed with AusPost
« on: March 17, 2017, 05:41:47 PM »
The last two parcels that have been sent to me have arrived at the Welshpool Distribution centre on either Thursday or today at 5:40am.

Been waiting all day. For a service that cost $55, its not much service.

Oh well, maybe Monday!

My son waited a month for a small item that was "express' posted...

There was a show on A Current Affair last night about a package that arrived after 2.5 years, the skin creams it contained had time expired in transit.

We are in desperate need of a courier company that will take on Aus Post nationally. They provide poor service yet are so arrogant. That being said, they are not the only courier that provides poor service in this country. I deal with it on a daily basis.  :fp

Multi-million...

$5.6 million to be exact.

When I ordered my new jacket (last year) I expected it about a week later from Melbourne to home but got the next day; sent by Toll Priority.

Bought an item from Northern NSW and sent via AusPost. Went via Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and then home. It arrived in Adelaide Thursday afternoon and delivered here Monday.

Have to say that I find Auspost to be very good at parcel delivery up here in the sticks though they werent so good when I lived in Canberra.
Courier companies can be far worse though. I recently bought an item from a small company about 100kms south of here who sent it via Neway courier company. Neway sent it from depot to depot and finally delivered it to Auspost in Sydney (250km south of here) who delivered it back up here within 2 days of receiving it. Total delivery time was nearly 2 weeks.
