Brand new CalSci screen for sale - half price.

Hey all,

Anyone want to relieve me of a brand new CalSci screen for their ST1300 ?

Background is as follows....  I bought a near-new police Steed about a month ago and quickly decided the stock screen sucks    After looking around at local and overseas offerings I purchased a medium screen from California Scientific.  This is roughly the same height as the stock screen, but the reduction in wind-noise and buffeting is enormous as many here would already know.  But after using it for a fortnight I decided (being the OCD fussy sod that I am) that really I'd like something a bit wider, and since I plan to keep the Steed for a long time.......

CalSci make an 'extra-wide' version which I figured is what I'd like.

Now, CalSci have a very awesome return policy, and would be willing to take back my screen and replace it with the extra-wide version for just the cost difference in the screens.  But given the cost of shipping it back to them I figure it might be better all round to just get a new extra-wide-medium screen shipped out and see if anyone wants to buy my medium at a bargain price.

The cost of the medium screen in USD is $185 + $70 shipping - total USD $255 or about AUD $320.

I'd be happy if I can recoup 50%, so is anyone interested in buying this brand new screen for $160 (including postage) or $140 if you are local to Brisbane and can pick up ?

I have the large CalSci screen and just love it
Might be tempted to grab it as a back up as mine is a few years old
Will have to think about it

I'm on the northside - I work at Geebung, live at Eatons Hill.  The screen is at work but I can also take it home for evening or weekend pickup (except that I'd have to drive the car that day boo-hoo).

Only one proviso .... it wont be available until I get my replacement in about 2 weeks.  I don't think I could stand putting the stock screen back on :-)

Where are you?  I'm in Brisbane.  I still have the original packaging which, seeing as it already came halfway around the world, should be fine to post it in.
