Everybody appeared to have a great day as did Carrol and myself

The ride there was good, only had one shower on the highway, but we managed to pull over and put on wet weather gear before it started raining heavily.
After gearing up (with wet weather gear) we continued on along the Highway, it was smooth sailing through the rain for a while until we hit heavy traffic due to an accident a few kilometres further along.
Looking at the way the traffic was merging all over the place we decided to scoot along the breakdown section instead of filtering through (it was slow going at 30 kph but still a lot faster than crawling along in the traffic)
We pulled over and fuelled up (where we were supposed to be meeting up with jf3000) but I received a message from him saying that he was stuck in the traffic and that we should keep going to the Hotel.
We continued on the rest of the way without further incident and met up with everyone at the hotel.
We had a chat and checked out the bikes then decided to get a photo with the flag.
I tried out a new app to do a timed photo however it didn't turn out too well

Luckily Brookester came to the rescue and took some photos for us (what a legend)

We then headed inside and had a nice meal and a chat while the rain caught up to us and gave our bikes a clean (or got them wet in any case)
After this we all jumped back on the bikes and headed home, this time there was only one light shower (I didn't even bother putting on wet weather gear)
All in all it was an awesome day out.
Thank you everyone that was able to make it and I look forward to the next one.
Cheers
Shiney
