this has been my personal ride for the past 5 or 6 years, i have spent over $8000:00 on keeping this motorcycle in tip top mechanical condition, a list of upgrades will follow, the plastic is showing its age, but the rest of the motorcycle is spot on, suit and older rider, or someone returning to riding after a few years break bringing up the family, does come with a road worthy and the remainder of 6 months rego, currently setup and registered as a single seat rider, till May 2018. Contact me for any and all questions. This is the Honda 50th anniversary model, in Gold, i believe 200 came to Australia. Also comes with Clymer, Haynes and Honda workshop manuals, a SCA bike cover, a pair of boots, a fabric winter jacket and fabric winter trousers. Over the past 5 years, i have carried out all desirable PREVENTATIVE maintenance to the bike, at 160000 replaced all radiator hose's, at 165000 replaced the timing belt, (but wasn't showing wear), flushed out the petrol tank and inspected (clear and clean). At 172000 replaced rear rotor, at 198000 replaced the 2 front rotors. At 202000 the carbies were removed, new needles and seats and diaphragms and an overhaul and service. Because of the age of the bike, i have the services done every 5 to 6K's, not the Honda recommended 12K's, also the MAJORS ARE DONE EVERY 15k'S,___ AND SO FAR NOTHING DUE TO SUFFER IMMINENT FAILURE has been found. tyres, spark-plugs, air and oil filters, engine oil, hydraulic oils, radiator fluid are ALL replaced well before reaching fatigue point. Oh and if you flog it through the mountains, the fuel consumption drops off. But on a highway run even this old a bike, will still give you 550K's to the tank. Another year or so on the road and it will be a CLASSIC..__AND did i forget to mention, you get a second ST1100 as well for "Free". 1996 model, about 130000Kilo's, for a parts bike. All major parts are still on the bike, MOST minor parts are still on the bike. An interested buyer can have all the details on the second bike supplied to them, "WILL NOT SEPARATE"... 24th Dec 2017, just back from a morning ride 245 K's Johnstone road to Johnstone road, didn't miss a beat, went like a scalded cat.. contact me for a test ride.. listed elsewhere...
