YeSTerday I learnt a bit more about STrangler, reading the manual I found the oil filler cap without ripping him apart

. I removed the lower cowling drained the oil, which was STill gQQd lQQking and clean of metal, changed the filter with a Honda filter poured in the new Shell Helix oil, then STarted the bike and let it run for a few minutes, as per manual, then 'off' and waited about five mins, checked the oil level and the oil had settled right on the top marker line. That was well done! the right amount of oil 1ST go

. what a fluke!!
I bought a new camping table at ALDI on Wednesday for the trip. I've also been gathering things to pack in the coffin to bring along.
I'm taking a new rear tyre I have along juST in case I need to get it fitted.
I'd charged the deep cycle battery via the 240 power lead and turned on the fridge, disconnected the 240 power and let it run to see how long it STays powered. roughly 3 days, so free camping I wont have to run the bike to charge up the battery

Terry and I should be able to juST do little supermarket STops to shop along the way.
only a week to go now before I STart the adventure south to Tasmania, and so lQQking forward to breaking the mundane life at home.
