Google Streetview
« on: February 17, 2018, 09:40:51 AM »
Has anyone else had problems with Streetview lately?
For about a month I have found Streetview very slow to load, and then when you got the picture (which took a long time to resolve from pixellated to clear, it would not rotate through 360o.
I reinstalled Chrome just in case it had broken, and there was no improvement.  Explorer was the same.
But yesterday it came good, and is faster than ever.  I deduce Google have been working on it.
It used to work in Spotwalla, but when I try it there, I still only get odd little panels of picture.

I’m using Streetview many times a day at work, working fine for me.

Working better than ever- but it sure wasn't for quite a while there.  I was blaming my Chrome.  After the reinstall it still didn't work and then today it's great.  Dunno.  Just glad to have it back.  It's great fun.
For our house the view from one street is Jan 2014 and it's a "For Sale" block. Turn around and "move" to the corner and it's Sept 2015 with our house on the block!
