Woodworking.
« on: June 12, 2018, 02:01:19 PM »
I am not sure its a hobby yet, but I want to learn to and build some furniture and other woodworking if I can pick up the skills and enough tools for the jobs I want to do.

This patio roof was my most recent effort. I have had two requests to build roofs for others. 1 from NZ. Not sure how that will work out.

Nice work mate.  I can build with steel, but couldn't nail two bits of wood together to save my life.  My late brother-in-law was the woodworker, and between us we could make just about anything.

Nice trusses.  That's more carpentry/construction.  I do a bit of woodworking, but for me that means cupboards, boxes, toys and their ilk.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
