Bike-Quip's Founder Keith Munro - Sadly Passed
« on: May 03, 2019, 09:11:50 AM »
Hi Folks,

It is my sad duty to inform you that Keith sadly passed away on the 4th April following a heart attack just a day after his latest operation. Today, Thursday 2nd May, a bunch of us fellow Pan Riders provided him with a very fitting motorcycle escort on his final journey and give him a send off that I am sure would have put a smile on his face. His family and biking fraternity friends packed the chapel with standing room only and his eulogy was bike orientated as you might well imagine.

I know that Keith was known to many of you and therefore, if any of you would like me to pass on any messages to his widow June (and the rest of his family), then if you could email me at bikequipsteve@gmail.com and use 'Keith' as the subject header, I will pass them on in due course.

Sorry to be the bearer of such sad news - ride safe folks!

Steve B

Always sad to read of the passing of such a committed member of our riding fraternity.  Great to read his farewell was so appropriate.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
