Vale Bertrand Cadart

Sad to hear of the passing of Bertrand "The Frog" Cadart today...

You may remember he played "Clunk" in the original "Mad Max" movie.
He was also the owner of the "La Parisienne" motorcycle fairing business back in the late 70's & 80's.
He also had the Australian distributorship of Fournales shock absorbers.
In later life he was the Mayor of Bicheno in Tasmania and became quite famous for having a Honda Silver Wing scooter as his mayoral transport.
Family and health reasons dictated a move to Queensland in recent times where he sadly passed away today...  Wot thuh

Age is claiming far too many of our contemporaries.  Sorry to lose another bike aficionado.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
