Winston 66 Wonders.
 Question for today.
Hello everybody,  As I am leaving home in a couple of weeks, for I* hope a nice long holiday Estimated about 3 months and I will be crusing on in an endevour to circumnavagate this Australian continent, on the ST with my new trailer. I was wondering a couple of things.
Firstly does anyone one want to be on my list for me to call in and have a visit from this old reprobate, perhaps if so please send me your contact details and an approxmate location so that I might be able to plan the relavent detours . At the present time I have not done any advance planning of the route except that initally I will try to be in Broome for the Ulysees Odossey at the beginning of June,
Then it is carry on to Darwin and then somewhere else.
 Now the next question.
Has anyone had any experience with roadside assistance providers?
I was wondering if it would be any advantage for me to explore this ,just in case of some unfortunate happening which I could not fix myself.
Does anyone know of any service provider that might be worth me contacting.
In the NT. and or the Eastern States?
The RAC here in W.A. does not offer anything worthwile for me to consider. Their coverage outside the Perth Metro area is not worth having .
 Well thats it.
 Cheers to all,
 Winston 66, Northampton

Your RAC should be ok nation wide.

I was in our RAA and needed a jump start whilst in Port Hedland. Local RAC contactor was available within 30 minutes.
Turned out my battery had failed to hold the charge so replaced it when I got back to Karratha.

Cant help with roadside assist recommendations, but you are welcome to call in, use the shed/tools/bed etc etc. I am about 10 mins northwest of Lismore NSW, 40 minutes away from Byron Bay/Ballina, and about 80 minutes from the QLD/NSW border. Let me know if you need to know anything about this part of the world.....Ive lived here a long time and know it pretty well.
Cheers
Laurie

Evening Winston...

Like Laurie I could offer you the same..I am about 40 km north west of Melbourne, Victoria...on the road to Bendigo...just drop my a personal message on the forum of your itinerary as I'll be either here, the GC, or Alice Springs, depending on your travels.

Cheers Dick

PS Oh, nearly forgot, you have a great and safe ride too :thumb

HI Gavo, and everybody,
Thank you all for the good wishes.
Yes I will definatley let everyone know where I am and how the trip is progressing as time goes by this via the Forum and some posts.
I am anticipating about a three month circuit. and yes. you guessed it .
It will be a clockwise rotation simply because that is the long way around by keeping to the left hand side of the road.
 I love riding my bike!'
Thanks again everyone. And dont forget , There still is room on my  call in on list for you , if you want to be on it,
I promise to be on my best behavour , but only because I am going to be on a HOLIDAY.
 Thanks again everyone .
Cheers Winston66.
