Request for Assistance

OzSToc has had a request for assistance and a bit of bike riding to boot 🙂

Looking for some bike owners who may be interested in acting as Motorcycle Marshals on 28th February 2021, for a Charity Cycle Event from Windsor to Lithgow along Bells Line of Road.  The Event is only open to serious road cyclists, not social riders.
 
The Event Organisers have been granted by Police & RMS a Road Closure Window of a couple hours in a Westerly direction, East Bound Traffic will still be allowed.  The event Organisers are asking for Volunteer Bike Marshall's to lead each group of riders to provide forward warning to on coming East Bound Traffic.  Lunch and light refreshments will be provided on the day.

I’ve done this in Canberra since 2002 and can say it is quite rewarding and I would be up for it but it is a 500k ride for me just to get there, but thoroughly recommend it to those riders living a bit closer to Windsor and Lithgow.
