Home safely.

Stinking hot when I left Adelaide.
Cool when I arrived in Clayton Bay.
Got cold whilst killing time there and was cold when I headed home.
Stinking hot back in Adelaide.

Back home, safe and sound. 10 at lunch - it'd have to be the biggest gathering for SA this year I reckon. Both our lunches were particularly good and we were very lucky regarding speed of service. Some had a bit longer wait. I was thinking I might have to defend my chips at one stage - Stinky Pete was looking a bit lean and mean with a particularly hungry look in his eyes  :eek

Home as well, enjoying a cuppa watching cricket.

A fellow ST owner (who wasn't aware of OzSTOC) rode past us on his new (to him) BMW 1250rt, gave him a wave & he circled back & pulled in alongside. Told us he's got a ST1100P at home.

We chatted for a while on the topic of bikes, rest of the lunch group turned up, invite issued & an extra one sitting down with us - total of 10 for the day.

Welcome Bill.

It was, surpassing the eight we had at Mannum at the beginning of the year.

The Riverlanders had already set out for home by the time we took the group photo.

It was a lovely final RTE for 2024, with a pretty good roll-up.  I'm bikleless for the time being, but I was overcome with evocative memories seeing Shillas on my old ST, and Bill riding his white BMW RT.

Fossil178's Super Tenere reminded me of my ride in Japan.
