Ok Tipsy, see ya around 8:45am Saturday morning. Our place is easy to find. It's the second house on the right if you enter Picton Drive from the Hanover Drive end. Otherwise, just look for the house with all the cool bikes parked out front ... lol

Hey Streak. Just had a look on google maps, street view, and there really is no shoulder to meet on at the actual intersection of Brisbane Valley H'way and the Dag H'way. How about we meet a few k's up the road at Harlin, in front of the little BP servo. That's on the BV H'way a few keys in.
Skip.

Just to get everyone jealous I did the Esk Bakery run today as I needed to go up to Watts Bridge to fix a mates aeroplane. Absolutely top-notch afternoon, 21 degrees, clear blue sky and sunshine...and the dam looks GOOD with some actual water in it!

Stopped off at the Fernvale bakery on the way home for a pie and coke, met a couple on Ducati's and another couple on a BMW and a big VT cruiser, lots of bikes on the roads. As the lady with the Duc said, "Isn't it nice when you can do this on a weekday as well as the weekend!" Must agree with the lady, 'cause she's quite right!!! ...and she looked real good in leathers!!   :whistle

My myopic company management have decided to pay me a years salary to not work there anymore, so as of 29th June (i.e. the end of next week!) I can do this when ever I want!! :grin

This will not, of course, stop me from doing it again on Saturday   :hatwave

Cheers all, looking forward to catching up with everyone on Saturday.

Skip, to be absolutely truthful I have no mixed feelings whatever. I have spent 11.5 years working for a company whose management think that a workable manager/worker level is 3 managers for 7 workers, which is the average in our head-office right now, whose solution for falling sales is to make workers redundant whilst keeping senior managers and sales people, but who haven't cottoned on to the fact that if they actually get any of the jobs they are tendering for they won't have anyone who can actually execute them.

No, mate I am really glad that I am not going to be associated with this sinking ship, good riddance to them! Me and my guys (who are also being made redundant) have already been offered a design/development/project management job in China for 2-3 years which will make us more money that we could ever earn here, and we have also been offered a partnership with a big software company to develop turn-key solutions for company's here in Aus. So we have more choices that I can shake a stick at...and I am over the moon that my old company are paying me enough for me to take the time to make my mind up.

Mate, I couldn't be happier!!!  :thumbsup :thumbs :thumbsup :thumbs

Hi Harie,

Lets aim for leaving at about 0900 to 0915 that’ll give us plenty of time to catch up with the guys at the BP before heading off again :grin

How’s that sound?
