What browser or browsers?

Have you tried logging-in on someone else's device, one where quotes work correctly?

No Michael, I havent done that yet. I have mostly Apple devices but I havent heard of anyone having the same issues.

What happens when you put a message inside the quotes like above, but without the full stops

It should look like this
