Ya gotta love the incompetence of Vicroads workers`/contractors...
Recently they decided to repaint the merge lines on a newly patched/sealed section of highway where 2 lanes merge into one just out of Leongatha.
Should be easy, right? No...these numpties decided to make the right lane merge into the left lane instead of the usual left lane merge...this all occurring just over the crest of a hill...
If it wasn't so dangerous it would have been quite comical seeing the confusion and panic braking going on from those in the right lane when they realised they were now having to give way!
A couple of days later Sue spotted a number of people (traffic management perhaps?) standing around discussing the situation.
The next time she travelled through there the merge lines had been repainted as they should be and the other road markings painted over with black paint.
