My Oz Lap
« on: August 25, 2025, 04:45:37 PM »
Doing an Oz lap is on my bucket list.

My Bluetooth headset partially gave up on me, so I ordered a new one of the same type on Ebay.

Sad to say, the Bluetooth has started on the lap without me and is doing it courtesy of Australia Post.

So far, its done Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Regency Park and Darwin.

Looking forward to where it ends up next.   :rofl

Woo Hoo!   A lap is a wonderful adventure, and your bike already knows the way.   :thumbsup

It must have something to do with being Bluetooth as I had something similar happen to me...
I bought some new Bluetooth headphones a few years ago on eBay.
They came from Hong Kong, made it into Australia then did the rounds and ended up at some post office in NSW awaiting collection.
Apparently someone (not me) even collected them!

Luckily the seller did the right thing and sent me another set and they actually made it to my home here in Victoria...  :thumbs

Just the reason why the courier companies are thriving.
Happened to me too this week. Ordered parts on Monday, just gone, specifically 2 to 3 days delivery. Landed in Bayswater on Wednesday, Melbourne on Thursday, delivery by the following Monday. Got them Friday. Go figure. !@#$ knows. I think a certain CEO of Aust post needs to go and get ................................fill in the blanks. Just a thought?

My Mrs sent two food packages from Perth to Broome, about 4000Ks north.. One package arrived in three days, the other for some reason went to Melbourne sorting center. It arrived 2 weeks after sending... :|||| :||||
