Next time you'll be more conscientious about putting it on properly!  I learned the hard way, but went back and found mine in the ditch.

Sounds like I'm a member of an elite club.

Yes, I too didn't secure LHS pannier, it fell off, never to be seen by me again.  Got a canndy red replacement from STroppy (RIP), a local crash repairer / spray painter matched the black nicely, couldn't tell it had been painted.

Never did that again.

Richo lost one of his on a RTE to the Stone Hut Bakery.   We all scoured the roadsides on the way home, but no one found it.    However Richo found it in his shed when he got home, as he had taken it off the bike and simply forgot to put it back on.    Check your shed.....   :grin

For everyone out there who doesn't know this simple trick...
When you mount an ST1300 pannier put your head down towards the pillion peg and look at the bottom of the pannier.  There is a big V shape that must straddle the bike's frame.  If that is in place and you can't pull the pannier away from the bike by its handle, then it's properly fitted.

There's a guy on Facebook Marketplace selling 2 blue panniers (a bit scuffed up) for $75 the pair, located East of Brissy.

Diesel: If you pick a set or just one that's the wrong colour. I can paint them the right colour for you.

Thank you so much.
It may happen that way. I'd have to be incredibly lucky.
