Tried various methods of attaching items to the handle bars of the ST1300, including:

  • RAM ball mount - brake / clutch reservoir mounts
  • RAM ball mounts - triple mounts on top of dashboard
  • Quadlock knock-off

There's a couple of guys with a Youtube channel who compared a genuine Quadlock with a knock-off, the review concluded that the knock-offs were just as good.  If I find the vid, I'll post a link.

I have a few knock-offs (one on the push bike, one on the eBike and one on the CFMoto (see pic).

The knock-off are pretty good (especially considering the $$), but no where as good as the RAM ball mounts combined with the RAM X-Grip.  I'll see if I can find some pics of the RAM stuff.

Here it is:

These guys have a couple of other (at least) informative, interesting videos.  Based of their review, I purchased a Temu top box for the CFMoto, it's a pretty good bit of kit, especially for the $$.

And a couple more pics of the knock-offs.

Repositioned to improve ergonomics and view.

And a couple of the brake and clutch reservior RAM balls.

Squint and you'll see the triple RAM balls.
