Fairing buttons
« on: March 15, 2026, 03:20:55 PM »
Where can I get some of the larger plastic push thingies that hold the plastic on?
Some of mine have become brittle with heart. Some of the smaller ones that have the push button would be good too.
Thanks people.
Brad.

Thanks very much for that mate!
I’d already bought the exact ones from repco! Was hoping for originals, but I’m sure they’ll be fine.

Brad.

I recently ordered some through my local Honda dealer, but there aren't many OEM's left.

Have a bag of assorted fairing clips and studs.  Got a pack of  around 100 off eBay.  Lots of shapes and sizes, but not all needed for the ST1300 were included.   But sorting them usually found what was needed.  Mostly black and some grey, even used some when refitting some trim on the Honda Civic.

Bought 'em years back, so now can't find the listing, but something like this.

If any of the VIC's are interested, I'll bring 'em to Blackwood, or if someone interstate wants 'em, I'll post at their cost (probably around $5 to $10).

From my limited research there are 5 different pins/clips used on the ST1300...
Here are the part numbers and quantity:
  • 91549-MW0-790ZA - (8x)
  • 90683-MBW-003 - (4x)
  • 90116-SP0-003 - (4x)
  • 90116-MCS-G00 - (4x)
  • 90657-SB0-003 - (6x)

I've found that searching the part number in Google "AI Mode" will give you info on the size hole and length...
